Two-way conversation
There is no memorised script. It answers what you actually say, you choose the topic, and the conversation does not stop where a script ends.
You name the topic
Before the conversation starts you say what you want to talk about — "let's talk about my holiday". You can say it in your own language, so that not yet being able to say it in the language you are learning does not stop you from choosing. You can also start without choosing one.
When you get stuck, say it in your own language
You say the sentence you meant in your own language; it is built in the language you are learning, shown on screen and read aloud. You repeat it and the conversation continues. It does not just hand you the sentence — it shows how the sentence is built.
Suggestions
For a sentence you said you may see a "more natural" suggestion. Suggestions pass a check before they are shown; when the app is not sure, it shows none. What you have seen collects in your corrections.
It does not go to the cloud
The model is downloaded once and conversation works offline after that. The conversation is not stored; only the suggestions you have seen stay on that phone. Details: privacy policy.
